Leadership Lab — Sheila Hara
Most leaders have AI access.
Almost none have AI fluency.
A practical, live virtual workshop that turns curiosity into a team that actually ships with AI — built and led by a product leader who's done it, not just talked about it.
The Gap
Tools were never the bottleneck.
Most leadership teams have AI access but no real fluency. Individual contributors experiment quietly, adoption stalls the moment it needs to spread across a team, and leaders don't yet have a playbook for modeling, coaching, and measuring the change. The gap isn't access to tools — it's leadership.
Why Now: Gartner predicts AI agents will augment or automate 50% of business decisions by 2027. Leaders who haven't built real fluency will be leading teams — and making calls — they can't fully evaluate.
Three ways to start
Leadership Lab meets you where you are: as an individual leader, as a team, or both — followed by ongoing support to make it stick.
FOR YOU — 1:1 Executive Intensive
You're supposed to lead your team through AI adoption. Nobody taught you how to use it yourself.
A half-day, one-on-one session where you stop pretending you've got this figured out and actually get it figured out. You'll leave having built your first real AI tool — not a demo, something you'll use Monday morning.
Foundational AI vocabulary and a live demo: finding and fixing a real bug with an AI coding assistant
Build Your AI Delegate — a personal AI tool trained on how you think and decide, using your own real task
The Decision-Memo Stress-Test — using AI as a personal leadership thinking partner
FOR YOUR TEAM — 2-Day Live Virtual Workshop (up to 20 leaders)
Everyone on your team is quietly experimenting with AI. Nobody's doing it the same way, and nothing's sticking.
Two days, live, together. Day 1 gets every leader hands-on and building. Day 2 turns that into a plan for leading the team through it — the resistance, the modeling, the "wait, is this actually going to work" moments included.
Day 1: Foundational AI vocabulary, the live bug-fix demo, and each leader builds their own AI Delegate using a real task
Day 2: Change management for AI specifically — resistance, trust, and modeling behavior publicly
Team Efficacy Simulation Studio — leaders build a low-risk practice workflow for their team
A personal 30-60-90 day AI adoption plan, built live
FOLLOW-UP — 90-Day Coaching Cohort (up to 10 leaders)
The workshop ends. The energy's high for a week. Then it quietly fades, and three months later nothing's actually changed.
This is what makes it stick — for leaders coming out of the 1:1 intensive or the team workshop.
Bi-weekly group coaching calls to sustain momentum
Async feedback on each leader's adoption plan
One private 1:1 strategy session
Includes Level 3: AI Governance & Process Design at no extra cost
LEVEL 3 — For the teams ready to go deeper
Your team adopted AI. Nobody checked what that actually opened you up to.
Level 3 covers the questions that come up once AI is already inside how your team works — what you're licensed to use, and where the gaps are in how you build, ship, and review. It's included in the 90-Day Coaching Cohort at no extra cost, or available on its own as an optional Day 3 add-on ($7,500–$10,000) if you want it live and hands-on without the full cohort.

What Leaders Walk Away With
Not a certificate. A working habit.
Working fluency with AI tools they can model for their teams — not just talk about.
A concrete, low-risk workflow their team can adopt within 30 days.
A 90-day adoption plan tied to real outcomes, not usage metrics
Why This, Why Me
I've spent 15+ years helping teams navigate complex, high-stakes change — from a U.S. patent on shipping logistics to leading product teams across four countries. But what actually drives me is simpler: watching a leader go from feeling behind on AI to confidently teaching their own team. That moment is why I built Leadership Lab.
I'm a Senior Director of Product Management leading a globally distributed team across the US, India, Germany, and Austria, recognized as a Sharebird Top 50 Product Mentor. I hold an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and a University of Colorado, Colorado Springs Executive Education certificate in Women in Leadership with AI-Driven Engagement — but I'm happiest in the room when someone's confidence about AI clicks into place.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How is this different from an AI training course for employees?
Most AI training teaches individuals to use tools. Leadership Lab teaches leaders to model AI fluency publicly, coach their teams through adoption, and build the systems — visibility, delegation, measurement — that make adoption stick org-wide.
Do participants need a technical background?
No. The workshop is built for mixed technical and non-technical leadership teams. Every exercise, including the live coding demo, is designed to be followed and understood without a coding background.
What's the difference between the three paths, and can I do more than one?
For You is a 1:1 intensive for individual leaders who want to build their own fluency first. For Your Team is the 2-day group workshop, for up to 20 leaders together. Many leaders start with For You, then bring their team in later — both lead into the same optional 90-day Follow-Up cohort for ongoing coaching.
What's the difference between the 2-day workshop and the 90-day cohort?
The 2-day workshop builds individual fluency and a team adoption plan. The 90-day cohort is optional ongoing coaching — bi-weekly calls and 1:1 support — to keep that plan from stalling once the workshop ends, which is where most AI initiatives lose momentum.
How many leaders can join a single workshop?
Up to 20 leaders per live virtual cohort.
Is this a lecture or is it hands-on?
Fully hands-on. Each leader builds a real, personal AI tool during the workshop using their own actual work task — not a hypothetical case study.
What is Level 3, and is it included?
Level 3 is advanced content — AI governance and process design — it is available two ways: included as part of the 90-day cohort, or as an optional add-on Day 3 (see price above) for teams who want it live and hands-on without the full cohort commitment.
How can I share this with my team or supervisor?
Download the one-pager — it covers all three paths, pricing, and what leaders walk away with, so you can make the case without explaining it all yourself.
